Jason is a multi-talented musician, songwriter and actor who hails from Gainesville, Florida. For over a decade, Jason proudly served as a Musician in Residence for the esteemed UF Health Shands Arts In Medicine program. His heartfelt performances have brought solace and joy to countless patients, while his passion for spreading music's healing power has taken him as far as Haiti, where he played for orphanages with his soulful melodies.

Drawing from a diverse range of genres, including country, rock, and folk, Jason's musical prowess knows no bounds. With influences like the legendary Elvis Costello and the iconic Tom Petty, his performances are infused with captivating charm and unforgettable energy.

Beyond his artistry, Jason is also the visionary founder and producer of the renowned music festival, The BASH. In his relentless dedication to the intersection of arts and healing, he established the Music Is Medicine fund associated with Arts In Medicine, raising over $150,000 to support this noble cause.

Jason's journey has taken him on tours throughout the country, where he has lent his talent to various bands and projects over the last two decades. Besides writing original music, he also specializes in acoustic renditions of classic country and rock hits from revered artists like George Jones, Bob Dylan, The Byrds, Jim Croce, The Beatles, Tom Petty, Johnny Cash, John Prine and more.
